My Personality

I have gone through a personality test and as expected, I fall into the “ISTJ (Introverted, Sensing, Thinking, Judging) - Examiner” catagory. The detailed findings are as follows:

ISTJs are responsible, loyal, dependable and hard working. Punctuality is a watchword of the ISTJ. They have an acute sense of right and wrong and work hard at preserving established norms and traditions. Because of their deep sense of duty they are dedicated to everything they do and are very dependable. ISTJs care deeply for those closest to them. They place great importance on honesty and integrity. They are “good citizens” who can be depended on to do the right thing for their families and communities. While they generally take things very seriously, they also usually have an offbeat sense of humor and can be a lot of fun - especially at family or work-related gatherings. If only one adjective could be selected, “super dependable” would best describe them.

At work, ISTJs get things done on a timely basis. They honor deadlines, and they believe in thoroughness. A half-finished joy is not a job well done. They established procedures and schedules, and are uncomfortable with those who do not do the same. ISTJs put duty before pleasure. As long as they can fulfil their responsibilities, they feel useful and thereby satisfied. Their work does not have to be fun, but it has to count toward something productive. ISTJs believe that vacations are something that one takes only when work has been accomplished; thus, at times they do not take vacations even when they could and should.

Budget 2008

Budget 2008 was expected to be an election budget with plenty of goodies but it turned out to be a so so one. And to me, a slightly disappointed one.

Besides the single tier tax system to be imposed on dividend distributions in year 2008 whereby companies’ profit is taxable and no longer on the dividends distributed to the shareholders (but it is still unclear whether the dividends received by the shareholders are still to be included as taxable income in the calculation of personal income tax) I don’t really benefit from Budget 2008. Despite strong anticipation from most of all, there is no deduction in personal income tax rate or adjustment to the individual tax relief.

Haiyo… Don’t waste your time listening and reading the comments made by our BN leaders on Budget 2008… What you get is always ONLY thumbs-up and positive comments, for EVERY year…

Why not listen to the comments from opposition parties or more neutral comments from the experts, economists to have a much better true picture of the Budget 2008…

I know there are at least 4 forums in Selangor/ KL open to public for free these few days… One of them as below:

大马人优先:2008预算案谁得益?
Date/

(Lim Guan Eng)
(Dr Ho Kee Peng)
(Tony Pua)
(Liew Chin-Tong)

Plan to attend one of them… Let’s share opinions on the Budget 2008…

Life is not difficult…

Further to my earlier posting recommending the book “The road less traveled” which started his writing which a statement “life is difficult”, I share with you a must watch video clip I received from my friend.

You will be amazed and if you think life is difficult and luck is always against you, this video clip would probably change your thoughts.
